Refund Policy

Entry fees are non-refundable for non-starters and non-finishers. Entry fees are refundable before August 19, 2011 although 25% of the entry fee will be retained to cover administration costs. All entries are non-transferrable. Fees will be processed by Pont3 Pty Ltd and an item will appear on your statement showing funds being debited by Pont3-Running Festival.

Privacy Policy

Pont3 collects your personal information for the purpose of conducting the Event, including identifying participants, recording results and communicating with you about this or other events.

You consent to us disclosing your personal information to Athletics Australia Ltd for the purpose of administering the Athletics Australia Running Australia program. You acknowledge and agree that in administering the Running Australia program, your personal information will be used to register you as a recreational running member of Athletics New South Wales.

Security

All credit card transactions are made through Direct Payment Solutions (DPS).
DPS is committed to protecting the security of your data. DPS use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When DPS transmit sensitive information (such as credit card numbers) over the internet, they protect it through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. Credit card details stored on the site are encrypted using 168bit 3DES encryption. DPS is also certified AIS compliant.

Collection of Information
To enable DPS to provide secure payment facilities they acquire information which may include your name, your credit card numbers (with expiry date) and your billing address.

Use and disclosure of Information
DPS use the information which you enter onto the payment page to obtain authorization to the transaction from the issuer of the credit card and the bank to process the payment. Some details from your transaction (such as your name, email and delivery address, but never you card details) are made available to Pont3 (the event organisers) through the DPS customer management system, which allows Pont3 to keep track of what transactions have been made. Subject to the above, DPS will not disclose the information to third parties, or make any use of it, without your permission (unless required to do so by statute or by an authorized body in order to aid the investigation or prevention of crime).

Participant Agreement

I agree to the following as conditions of participating in the Blackmores Sydney Marathon, Blackmores Half Marathon and The Sunday Telegraph body+soul Bridge Run and The Sunday Telegraph Family Fun Run (“Event”). Event means all or any of these events.

I acknowledge that: I participate in the Event at my own risk. I will take all reasonable measures to protect myself from the risks of participation. I accept all responsibility for travel and medical insurance and for payment and/or reimbursement of medical/surgical expenses incurred on my behalf.

I am responsible for all property I bring to the Event sites and that Athletics Australia (AA) and Pont3 Pty Ltd (“Pont3”) accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to this property.

I consent to the conduct of identity verification checks, background security checks and any other security checks (which may include inspecting my personal property) prior to my entry to and departure from any Events sites.

I undertake to comply with all applicable regulations, by laws and rules of the Australian Sports Drug Agency (ASDA) and AA in relation to the Event and will comply with all reasonable directions and decisions of the officials, and other representatives of ASDA and AA and Blackmores Sydney Running Festival staff and officials.

I release AA and Pont3 (and their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, sponsors and / or agents) from any claim and from any liability (to the extent permitted by law) for or as a result of any loss, injury or damage suffered by me in relation to my attendance and participation at the Event, how so ever caused, including any claim or liability which arises due to any negligence of AA and / or Pont3 (and / or their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, sponsors and / or agents).

I consent to the publication and/or use in any form of media whatsoever of my name, race result, image, voice, statement or otherwise, including the publication of my name and/or event result and applicable age bracket in /or marketing materials/website without payment or compensation.

To the best of my knowledge, I am not suffering from a condition which would prevent and/or render me unfit to participate in the Event.

I have not knowingly used any substance for the purpose of enhancing my performance at the Event and will not use any substance or procedures prohibited by the rules of AA or the International Association of Athletics Federations (“IAAF”). (Competitors should check with their physician to ensure medication that they are taking is not a prohibited substance).

I being the competitor, have read and agreed to these terms and conditions. I understand that by supplying AA and Pont3 with my e-mail address and mobile telephone number I will receive regular e-newsletter/SMS updates from the Event Organisers and/or Blackmores and sponsors in order to keep me informed about the Event.

If the Event is cancelled for safety concerns or otherwise as a result of something beyond the reasonable control of AA and / or Pont 3 including without limitation strong winds, heavy rain, lightening and accidents, I accept that my entry fee will be non refundable. In addition I acknowledge I will have no claim against AA and / or Pont 3 for any loss or damage I may suffer as a result of such cancellation.

Privacy Declaration: Pont3 collects your personal information for the purpose of conducting the Event, including identifying participants, recording results and communicating with you about this or other events and Blackmores and other sponsor offers.

Promotional code: Please enter your promotional code in the promotion field during online registration and click the + button to validate. If your discount code is accepted, your registration fee will be reduced accordingly. No refunds will be issued if you submit payment and fail to enter your promotional code during online registration.
